About Lifeline Homecare

Our Story

Lifeline Homecare is committed to providing individualized service and support to maintain independence and quality of life.  There is something special about a home in Kentucky. Tradition is deeply rooted in the culture. Lifeline Homecare is a Kentucky proud business helping Kentucky families manage processes of aging, recovery from injury or illness, chronic health conditions and end-of-life situations since 1989. Our caregivers are Kentuckians, deeply rooted, caring and understanding of our bluegrass pride and ways of life.

Mr. J.T. Wilson started Lifeline Homecare in 1989 when he reached a contractual agreement to provide supportive services to rural Kentuckians through a program with a local agency on aging.  Prior to this Mr. Wilson started and operated one of Kentucky’s largest and most successful medical home health companies. Even earlier in his career, he worked with his father at a family-owned skilled nursing facility.

“I have been involved in the care of senior Kentuckians over the course of my entire career,” says Wilson. “Early on I discovered that most everyone wants to be home or to go home. It’s a real honor to own a business that provides services that enable folks to remain at home as long as they wish.”

Lifeline Homecare began as a locally-owned and managed personal services agency, licensed by the state of Kentucky and remains so today.  Why is this important?  Our clients and caregivers are our friends and neighbors. There is no corporate hierarchy. The CEO is a Kentuckian and is involved daily with agency operations, often speaking to clients, families and caregivers himself.  Stock market traders do not define success for Lifeline Homecare. Client satisfaction does.
